This video is a rehearsal of this great piece by Paquito D'Rivera comprising elements of Jazz, Classical, Brazilian Baiao, Samba (and a little Venezuelan Flavor). The wonderful American Pianist Leon Bates is at the piano
Paquito D'Rivera asked me to learn it on flute and I find that it actually works quite well on the instrument. It is a great attempt at real crossover between Classical and popular styles of music.
